REQUEST for relief application

     The founders of Ho'omohala O Moloka'i Foundation were the first group on Moloka'i to take the lead and organize relief for people with Covid-19, called the Molokai Covid-19 Relief.

    Day one of the first cases on Molokai they quickly organized volunteers for food, supplies and necessities for the community. Molokai is a very rural island. We don't have any at home delivery service. Families who had to quarantine immediately needed to stay in doors. Most was unprepared for this. Molokai has no delivery service. The Molokai Covid-19 Relief Group asks for donations within the community. Soon we had everything you could think of. 

     Protocol was put into place to keep Covid from spreading. Donations were picked up in a drop off area, designated to where they were able to be picked up by volunteers without any human interaction. All donations were sanitized and distributed  in a safe manner.
